Scooter Central
Inokim was one of the first eScooter manufacturers in the industry to consider every type of rider. Although they've been making eScooters since 2011, Inokim hasn't had a big presence in North America until just recently. When we found out that they were opening not one- but two locations in Manhattan, we had to drop by and pay a visit.
Many Options To Choose From
The eScooters that are available from Inokim are very feature rich. Scooter to scooter, you'll find a variety of different brake types, options like an easy-carry handle, different types of suspension and tire sizes, and even trolley wheels (as a stock option). Each is very carefully placed on their respective model in order to create a great riding experience for each type of rider, whether you're looking for a super short and easy commute, or a long one with very uneven pavement (where the dual suspension model REALLY comes in handy).
We were lucky enough to get to test ride a few models including the Inokim Light 2 model, and the Inokim OX. Keep an eye on this website and our Youtube channel for videos about them coming up.
What Sets Them Apart
One really great thing about the new locations in Manhattan is that they offer full service for Inokim customers. This is a real upside for those in NYC, considering that there are very few places who are willing to service eScooters, even for something as simple as a tire change.
Although I'm handy (and techy!), I'm certainly a little technically challenged when it comes to eScooters- and I've noticed that there are a lot of other riders like me. So don't fear! You can now buy an eScooter and get it worked on by the same people. Thankfully, they really care about your ride experience as well.

eScooters for Everyone
Inokim has models made for every type of rider in mind:
- Mini 2: A real last mile solution. Coming in at 23 lbs and giving a range of about 15 miles, this small and lightweight eScooter was made to be in the trunk of a car for the last mile, or for very short commutes.
- Quick: With an easy-carry handle, this is made to be a nice lightweight solution for scooting around a city. With 10" tires and a range of about 25 miles, this will easily handle most of your city scooting needs.
- Light 2: A little lighter in weight than the Quick, this comes in under 28 lbs. but still provides a range of up to 18 miles. This model has 8" tires, and does fairly well in the city- although you may want to look more into the Quick for a better city ride.
- OX/OXO: This is the flagship model for Inokim. Although it's heavy at 74lbs, you'll see a top range at 68 miles. For most people, you could commute all week long, do your shopping, etc.- and still have some battery left over.
To learn more about the individual models, please take a moment and view our video below where we give an overview about all of the features available on each individual model. Also included are some interview portions with the people who work for Inokim!
