We just recently published an article about the CDC study on eScooter accidents, where we've previously seen riders using a helmet less than 4% of the time. Realistically, if we want a safer rider experience, we have to make changes in the eScooter community and start being a bit more safety conscious.

We've compiled a list of helmets here that may help you to be more protected in the event of an unfortunate eScooter accident.

Please find yourself a helmet, and please ride safely.

Schwinn is one of the most classic names in bicycles, and it's no surprise that they make one of the hottest helmets on the market. The Thrasher is a lightweight helmet made for adults, youth, and children

This features an adjustable dial system for the perfect fit. This has a lot of vents which will help to keep you cool while you're riding, too. I know that these features are great, but this is also one of the coolest-looking helmets out there, too. Style and substance is always a winning team!

Giro is a top manufacturer of helmets. Although they have a big following in the professional cycling world as a maker of high quality helmets, they also make excellent consumer-level products as well, and this is a fine example. This particular helmet utilizes a system called MIPS or "Multi-directional Impact Protection System" which effectively redirects energy in the case of a crash so that you might sustain less injuries.

This product also includes universal sizing and is heavily vented in order to keep you cool while you're riding.

Currently, you can pick one of these up on Amazon.com.

The title that comes with this helmet got me extremely interested. Anti-Theft Guarantee Bike Helmet?! Yeah, you read that right. I took this quote right off the Amazon page because I thought it was really important for you to read:

"Our patent-pending PopLock is the most convenient way to leave your bicycle helmet behind. Access the hidden channel behind the logo mark, and pop your U-Lock or chain lock through. Perfect for the daily commuter."  The only thing to keep in mind here is that unlike many helmets on this, this one is not one-size-fits-all. They've got a handy sizing guide that will help you find the perfect size! Also, this is a unisex helmet.

Like the rest of the helmets on this list, this one is inexpensive and can purchased on Amazon.com.

The Outdoor Master Cycling Helmet is a very simple, cross-platform helmet that also services the skateboarding community. This one is both ASTM and CPSC certified for comfort and impact resistance.  This is a double-adjustment helmet, so you're highly likely to get a fantastic fit that can grow with you over time.

This is a very affordable helmet, and you can currently find it on Amazon.com

Coming in two different finishes, the Zacro Adult Bike Helmet is an adjustable helmet with absorbent lining that breathes very well due to the significant amount of venting in the helmet. Although this is a fairly common design, this particular helmet is CPSC certified to help with impact.
